Easy Scratch Recipes Week 20
Ginger Snaps.
1 c. sugar 1 egg
1/4 c. butter 1/4 c. molasses
1/2 c. shortening
Beat well and add:
2 c. flour 1/2 tsp. salt
1 1/2 tsp. soda 1/2 tsp. ginger
1 tsp. cinnamon 1/2 tsp. allspice
Mix well. Pinch a small amount of dough the size of a walnut. Roll in sugar. Bake on ungreased cookie sheet at 350° about 12 minutes or until tops crack.
