Bipartisan Commissions

From Trump’s first day in office, news he did not like got labeled fake news. This fake news plan continued for four years. He brainwashed his supporters into believing the news media was the enemy and picked on him with fake news. He was preparing them for the big lie if he lost the election to the radical, socialistic democrats. He must have planned all along to declare the election got stolen from him. His lies to divide and conquer the nation should be considered a Treasonous Act.

Treason – Wikipedia

The republican party had the FBI investigate doctor Martin Luther King Jr, and a bipartisan commission was formed in Congress to investigated him for treason and communist activities.

On January 6th, 2021, the nation’s capital got attacked to overturn the 2020 presidential election results. The Republican Party does not want to have a bipartisan commission formed now to investigate that takeover of the nation’s capital.

It looks like we may have already lost our government to radicals who use lies to control all political power. They are committing treason while using their rights of free speech. That is as low as a U.S. politician can go. Some should be tried for treason and lose their citizenships. They pretend to be political public servants. The elected officials who continue to perpetuate the lies are just as guilty as the originator of the BIG LIE.

Republican Recruited Riot

How many Governors, Senators, and state lawmakers should resign after spending the last couple of years enflaming people at Trump campaign rallies with loud, repetitive lies about the EVIL DEMOCRATS? They prepared their followers mentally, and filled them with hate, ready for the day of rioting? The Republican party is directly responsible for organizing the Domestic Terrorist attack on the capital of the United States. They got ready to overturn the 2020 election with dozens of lies. They must have felt there was strength in large numbers of lies. The majority of the citizens suffered through four years of Oval Office lies and got to be considered the enemy of the people. Lie – Wikipedia

The GOP is now having a Republican National Committee meeting in Florida showing little regard for what has taken place this week, only one thing is on their minds having complete control of all political power.

She said, “I am mad and I am not going to let socialism rule in this country,” McDaniel said. “I am going to work with every single one of you to make sure we squash it, we take back the House and we take back the Senate in 2022.”

Maybe they plan to pay attorney fees for the arrested rioters? Send your donations to the RNC.

I talked about the last 40 years of GOP political history on another story titled “The 2020 Election.”

The following is a great message.

Autonomy For All

DAILY PROMPT
Autonomy
Write a new post in response to today’s one-word prompt.

Autonomy For All

Autonomy is a a birth right that requires getting through the infancy stage. A baby is born totally dependent on nurses or a mother and father for care to survive those first months of life. As it gets from the 18 month to two year old stage, sometimes a little children start to express their desire for their own autonomy. They have a deep desire to do things on their own, to discover things in their own way, they want to be free. The human body is put together that way, a constant wish to advance, move ahead, grow. Overprotective parents could kill that wish for autonomy before it ever gets started. They must trust the child to start learning to be free and experiment in its’s own ways on independence.

Some overbearing parents will not let their children find their own autonomy. They want children to be carbon copies of what they are. Growing up to be just like they are, to do things in the same way that they do. There is one problem with that. Every human being is an individual person, there can be no carbon copy of the other. They might have some similarities but that is all.

Families with overbearing parents could be compared to a dictatorship. The rulers in power will not let its people have any autonomy or freedom. They want complete control of them so they will be slaves and servants and not ask questions of the leaders or their policies. Countries all over this world are full of people, yearning to have their autonomy but they never will, as long as they have a brutal dictator governing them.

People in countries without dictators can also lose their autonomy. If they become too complacent and don’t keep track of who’s in power, or what they stand for. An uninformed society that doesn’t care about their autonomy will not be a free society, for very long. The leaders won’t be called dictators, but they will control every aspect of life because the people become complacent and didn’t care about it. One day at a time, keeps scrolling into years, it’s all so subtle people don’t even realize they have lost their autonomy.

Thousands of years ago, people were living in caves. You can bet your last dollar that the biggest guy in the cave who had the biggest club ruled that area. No one challenged him after the first person got hit over the head with that big club.

All people down deep want their autonomy, their freedom. They don’t want to be ruled or governed by anyone who would take that right away from them. Freedom comes at a terribly high cost for all people, it always has and always will. For those who can smile and say, ” Let Freedom Ring.” They are the fortunate ones!

Individuals entering …society

“Individuals entering society must give up a share
of liberty to preserve the rest.”
George Washington

George Washington
Born in Westmoreland County, Virginia, The United States February 22, 1732
Died December 14, 1799

Ratification of the US Constitution in New York, 1788
EXCERPTS
George Washington’s letter of transmittal of the US Constitution to Congress, page 1.

In Convention, September 17, 1787.

Sir,

“WE have now the honor to submit to the consideration of the United States in Congress assembled, that constitution which has appeared to us the most advisable”. . . .

“It is obviously impracticable in the federal government of these states; to secure all rights of independent sovereignty to each, and yet provide for the interest and safety of all—Individuals entering into society, must give up a share of liberty to preserve the rest.”

“Individuals entering society must give up a share
of liberty to preserve the rest.”
George Washington

When President Washington sent his letter containing this quote to the Constitutional Convention on September 17, 1787 he no doubt shocked many people. A lot of history has been recorded in the United States of America since that time. Many amendments been made to the Constitution.

The Supreme Court has had their arms twisted in every direction by one political party or the other to make more amendments to the Constitution. Decisions regarding everything from super PACs Widgets to a woman’s right to choose, to guns and gizzard shad. In more recent times cases about the US Government spying on the citizens telephone and email messages for the sake of homeland security. People are still giving up their liberty to preserve it for the rest.

George Washington in his letter to the Constitution Convention in 1787 could never have dreamed of the ramifications of what his quote would come to mean in the centuries to follow. He did realize, for the sake of preserving liberty for the rest, every individual entering society would have to give up a share of his liberty.

President Washington had the foresight and wisdom to understand the full meaning of what he wrote in that letter to the Constitutional Convention in 1787. General George Washington had the guts to do it, to preserve the future liberty for all.

Middle East Peace

DAILY PROMPT
A Bird, a Plane, You!
You get to choose one superpower. Pick one of these, and explain your choice:

the ability to speak and understand any language
the ability to travel through time

I would choose “the ability to make any two people agree with each other”
For the chance of peace in the Middle East.

Benjamin “Bibi” Netanyahu is the current Prime Minister of Israel. He also currently serves as a member of the Knesset and Chairman of the Likud party.

Mahmoud Abbas (also known as Abu Mazen) is the leader of the Palestine Liberation Organization (PLO)

Mr. Benjamin Netanyahu and Mr. Mahmoud Abbas, gentleman my name is Leland Olson. I am little gray-haired man who resides in the United States of America. I have been given the superpower to make you two come to an agreement. This is without a doubt the luckiest day of your lives. You will be part of history making. Your part of the world will be free for all of the people who reside there, for the first time in generations.

Powers given to me on this day make you two agree, so I have to be careful on how I move with this meeting. I do understand that you would both immediately agree to kill one another. That is not what we are here for. We are here so you two will learn to start loving each other. You both will sign peace agreements. The PLO well then recognize all of Israel’s rights to live as an independent free state, a government onto themselves. Israel will sign agreements dividing the land between the people. Palestine and the People of Israel will have no borders or barriers. From this day forward they all will learn to work together and to be a shining example of what peace can be. All this takes is for you two people to start signing these papers and you will become famous peacemakers. You two will no doubt share the Nobel Peace Prize the next time it is awarded.

When you two leave here today go back to your people, welcome them all, Israeli and Palestinian with open arms, celebrate freedom, with your neighbors, Lebanon, Syria, Jordan, and Egypt.

Frugal Living

frugal.png

Begin a new life, get out of debt. You can do it! If you start living a frugal lifestyle you will set yourself free. Living a frugal lifestyle has become old-fashioned in the eyes of most people in this borrow and spend world. Those people are unhappy at the end of each month when the bills come due.

Trying to live a frugal lifestyles today finds you swimming against a tsunami of advertising and easy credit offers. You are being enticed to buy everything you see. The way advertising, big banks and credit card companies have been operating, frugal lifestyles seem wrong today. The US consumer has been expected to live beyond their means to create a false growing economy.

People are not encouraged to save because they get less than a half a percent interest on their savings accounts. Borrow and spend prosperity theories have been pushed by politicians and economists for years to show a growing economy. The party is now over. Millions of people now have a debt hangover that will not go away, the nation’s debt is becoming unsustainable, and consumer debt is following the same path.

Starting to live a frugal lifestyle today is going to be a very big change, if you are now a slave to the credit industry. You know what you’re total income is, without including a lottery win or a rich uncle leaving you a bundle. You have to sit down with a pencil and paper and plan a budget, have your significant other join you. Plan to live as frugally as possible until you get your credit debt paid off.

Lowering a person’s past standard of living is going to be a shock and awe experience at first. You have to look in the mirror and examine how much you have really been living above your means, each person has to do an honest self examination, if they are really being serious about living a frugal lifestyle. When you make the decision to change to frugal living it will be a step by step process. You learn to start purchasing things you need, not just the things you want. Here are some ideas, more will come to you as you work on your new lifestyle.

1.If you are buying a home, understand all the fine print in the contract do not let the real estate agents sell you a house that you cannot afford the payments on. If you’re renting, don’t move into a place if the rent payment is too high for your income. Try to find a place to live that is close your place of employment and schools. How much are your taxes and utilities? How much living space do you really need?

2.When you go to trade vehicles do not let the car salesman put you in a new vehicle with payments that you cannot afford. The big sports utility vehicle or Hummer makes you look impressive on the road but you are putting the gas in the tank and making the payments. A good used vehicle still under warranty can save you thousands of dollars.

3.Pay off your new credit card balances every month, gasoline credit cards are handy to use but stop and figure out what that gas is really costing you. The added interest on any unpaid balance makes you gasoline very expensive. Gas is expensive enough without the extra interest added on. Use cash to pay for your gas for a while. If you’ve been paying interest on your gas card, your savings will surprise you.

4.Try to carry health insurance to protect you from losing everything in the event of a sickness or accident. You may have to elect to have a high deductible but you will still have protection against losing your property.

5.Eating out gets very expensive, if you been eating out on the credit card often, check your credit card statements and see just how much your food costs have been. When you see how much you are spending eating out you will soon learn you have a large sum of money to start planning a very good grocery budget with. Make grocery lists at home before you shop. When you get to the market stick to the items on the list. Extra impulse items will add to your bill total very quickly. Yes, you have to cook the food but you can start to make very nutritious meals at home. Eating meals together at the table helps bind families together too. Don’t buy a lot of instant frozen microwave meals if you want to be frugal. Stop using credit cards at fast food joints, no hamburger is worth paying 18% interest on, not even super sized!

6.Entertainment, ask yourself if some wining and dining can be cut back on. Moviegoers might read more instead of going to the theater. Movie rental customers might consider TV programs once in a while if they have a big movie rental bill each month. If you live in a metropolitan area a very inexpensive TV antenna will receive plenty of TV programs, why pay a cable company bill?
If you are lucky enough to have a family trip planned make the destination closer to home to save money.

7. Lotteries and gaming, don’t consider either one unless you have your credit debt paid off and you have discretionary money in your pocket. Using credit cards or an ATM machine to get gaming money is financial suicide for your budget. Gaming and frugal lifestyles just don’t go together.

Living a frugal lifestyle seems impossible, in our modern, buy now society, but it can be done. Strive for a new life with as little debt as possible. It will bring you and your family a life with peace of mind and pride in your new way of life. You cannot put a price on that!
