Martyr Marriage Vows

Do you two take each other to be wedded as a married couple? To live together in marriage. Do you promise to love, comfort, honor and keep each other. For better or worse, for richer or poorer, in sickness and in health. And forsaking all others, be faithful only to each other so long as you both shall live?

If the whole world should discriminate against and renounce you. If they make claims that either one of you is unfit as a parent, or as husband or wife to each other. If they ignore you in public and shun you in private, have nothing to do with either one of you. Will you continue to stand by one another under all circumstances to the point of becoming martyrs one for the other?

If if you accept and abide by these humble vows You might consider returning in 40 years to apply for Sainthood. If you stay together that long you will have earned and deserve it.
