Fudge Frosting

1 c. sugar Dash–salt

1/4 c. milk One square unsweetened chocolate

1/4 c. butter

Combine sugar, butter, salt, and chocolate. Bring to a boil, stirring constantly. Boil one minute. Hold pan in cold water about five minutes, stirring constantly. Beat until spreading consistency, then frost cake quickly. “It will set up fast”

Note, this is enough frosting for a small cake, for a large cake double the batch. If you don’t have the squares of unsweetened chocolate, substitute with cocoa powder and a small bit of cooking oil.
