Shadow On The Wall

If you can remember playing shadow games with your hands, arms and body on your bedroom walls as the moonlight was brightly, shining through the window. There is a fairly good chance you grew up poor. There were many different shadow forms to create, your imagination was the only limit to what you could make. Entertainment was visiting, books or magazines. Reading is very hard on the eyes with a kerosene lamp or the moonlight to read by. That is possibly the reason shadow games were born.

If you had a wild imagination, you could come up with terrifying shadows across the room, just from different angles of the moonlight. We even took our shadows outdoors. The worst possible shadow that I could ever imagine happening? That would have be if the moon would stop exactly between the earth and the sun, a very ominous shadow indeed.
